When John snatched up an essay from the top of the shortest pile, he gasped, “Holy shit.” With his focus still fixed on the sheet of paper he held, he spun his chair around. “Here’s something you need to take a look at. Talk about a blast from the past.”
“What are you talking about?”
He held the paper above his head. “This essay, my friend, mentions a very familiar name. Didn’t you have a thing with Bree Elise?”
