Constant is the first part of my new favorite duet ever! When I began reading Constant, I thought it was going to be a slow moving story and at first it was. But, all of the story is important to the story-telling. Some chapters are set in the present and some are flashbacks of the past. The flashbacks not only provide character back story but also insight into their current decision making process. Sayer and Caroline (Caro) were the couple I was rooting for the entire book! Sometimes, their decisions made me smack my forehead and scream “Why?!” but I always wanted them to realize they belonged together. When I got to the ending, I was so glad I had an ARC of the next book ready to read because I don’t think I would’ve made it if I had to wait.
