The blurb for this book caught my interest so I decided to give it a try. The story sounded great and it was when it focused on Mikayla/Collette and David/Nolan. I could’ve lived without SOME of the Libby and Taylor parts. The present Taylor parts were integral to the story in my opinion and did need to be included, but her past parts just seemed creepy… creepier than the whole kidnapping story. I wouldn’t classify this as true dark, maybe a gray on the darker side. I loved Mikayla/Collette and David/Nolan as a couple even through the “darkness”. And David’s part at the end certainly gave me a “What the…” moment; I had conflicting pro/against feelings for him at that moment. Overall this was a good book and I am glad that I decided to read it.
