Oscar by S.J. McCoy
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is another rich millionaire meets girl from the streets story. Oscar and Grace are both well-developed characters. Through conversations with each other we learn about their pasts and how different they are from each other. Although he is a millionaire, Oscar is not perfect. We see the vulnerable side to him especially when he is faced with truths he has trouble accepting. The storyline flowed at a reasonable pace. Grace’s backstory was interesting, the secondary characters weren’t overwhelming but were interesting enough to warrant their place in the book. Since the series is the Davenport Series, I assume we will be getting TJ and Reid’s stories next (TJ and Reid are Oscar’s brothers) and I am looking forward to hearing their stories as well (particularly TJ’s).
