Book Review: The Ultimate Sin by Jillian Quinn

The Ultimate Sin (Sins of the Past, #2)The Ultimate Sin by Jillian Quinn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

** Note: I received a complimentary copy from the author in exchange for an honest review. **

This is book 2 of the Sins of the Past Series. This book should not be read before reading The First Sin (Book 1). I am glad that I already had this one waiting because I had to know what happened after that cliffhanger.

The Ultimate Sin picks up where The First Sin ended. We learn even more of the backstory of Angelo as well as his family’s history. There are times I thought the story was going to go so dark that there would be no turning back. But, the author only teased us to that point. When the plot that ended Book 1 is resolved, we are immediately thrown into a new plot involving Gia and Angelo. And this is one I never saw coming, or maybe I just didn’t want to see coming. The resolution of the second plot of the book shocked me, then saddened me, then pleased me. This book also ends in a cliffhanger of sorts that I am hoping begins the next book in the series.

This book is also told in dual POV – Angelo and Gia.
