This is one dark read. Even the love is dark. But, that’s a good thing. In Gia and Angelo’s world, their dark love is what made it their love story. Their history, their chemistry, their love is what makes this story. We learn of the history of Gia and Angelo all the way back to being little kids. These are well developed characters that are easy to get attached to even if you don’t want to. The relationship they have with each other as well as the dynamic they have within their respective families (including their childhood friend Sonny), are fully developed within the plot. This book does end in a massive cliffhanger.
This book is told in dual POV – Angelo and Gia.
Extra tidbit – I have a love for the name Angelo. It was my great-grandfather’s name.
