The blurb for this book is what drew my interest. I am a sucker for second chance romances. Overall the book was good. The female main character, Sami, tested every nerve I have. Several times I wanted to shake some sense into her. I understand the motive she had for the decisions she made but the desire to slap her was still strong. I mainly felt sorry for the male main character, Ben. He was blindsided by Sami’s decision to end their relationship early in the book and left in the dark as to her motive for it. The bickering between the two seemed a little juvenile at times (mainly Sami). While there were some minor problems (mentioned above), the overall book was worth the read. There were some good humor throughout the book and I did find myself laughing at times. This book has made me curious to read the Passion in Paradise series to learn the stories of some of the other residents of Paradise, TN mentioned in this book.
