Book Review: Justice by K.C. Lynn

Justice (Creed Brothers, #1)Justice by K.C. Lynn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

** Note: I received a complimentary copy from the author in exchange for an honest review. **

I had read the first chapter or two when I decided to read the reviews for the book. After reading a few negative reviews I was afraid I was going to hate this book. But, I didn’t and I’m glad that I decided to read it for myself. There were times I wanted to slap the female main character and times I wanted to slap the male main character. While I may not always agree with their decisions and methods, I understood the mentality behind their actions. However, the story was told well. Several taboo subjects were touched on and done in an appropriate manner. There was also some sexual material that may not be “my thing” in real life, but when reading it, it was like listening to my best friend tell me something I didn’t need to read. This topic was not the main point throughout and it did not affect the true story. I am looking forward to the other two books in this series because I am invested in knowing these brothers’ stories as well as the secondary story of Papa Creed and Gwen.

{Note: I clicked 4 stars but it is more of a 4.5 star read}
