This is the first book by T.K. Leigh I have given 4 stars to. I usually love T.K.’s books but honestly, I didn’t like the character of Eleanor (aka Ellie) in this series. I just could not relate to her nor could I find many redeeming qualities about her. My dislike of Ellie hadn’t affected my reviews of the previous 3 books, but I seriously couldn’t take any more of her.
As for the suspense side of the story, it was good. I figured some things out before it was written in the book but it didn’t affect the overall suspense story. I actually enjoyed the last 35% of the book the most. It was probably my favorite part of the whole 4 book series.
