Wicked Games by T.K. Leigh
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wicked Games is the continuation of T.K.’s contribution to the Blackout Anthology, Night Games. The first twelve chapters of this book is Night Games so if you have recently read that, then Chapter 13 starts immediately where that one ended (or read Night Games again just for fun 😊).
Now, onto the review. In the beginning, we learn how Lincoln and Chloe met in Vegas and the blackout. In the remaining chapters, we learn about the aftermath of their Vegas meeting. We learn about their pasts and what shaped them to be who they are. We also learn why Lincoln becomes “forbidden” in Chloe’s world. There are heartbreaking moments in this story; parts that made my heart hurt so bad for Chloe. This is not only a story of forbidden love between Chloe and Lincoln but also a healing process for Chloe. The ending was well worth all the waiting the reader endures.

Book Review: Night Games by T.K. Leigh
Night Games by T.K. Leigh
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Night Games is T.K. Leigh’s contribution to the Blackout Anthology. A note at the end informs us that this is a prequel of sorts to another (not yet published) book. This alone has me excited. This book sets up the characters for the upcoming book, Chloe and Lincoln. I was introduced to Chloe in T.K.’s book, Dating Games. This book is a quick read but you get a good idea of the characters and the complexity of them. After I finished the novella, I found myself trying to go back to my kindle to read more. Then I realized that more was coming later and my impatience kicked in. I became invested in these characters and can’t wait for the story (including the angst that I am sure will be written) to come.

Book Review: Dating Games by T.K. Leigh
Dating Games by T.K. Leigh
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Dating Games is another Rom Com by the great T.K. Leigh. If I were to describe this book as simply as possible and in relation to movies for reference, the equation would be: Legally Blonde + (Pretty Woman – being a “Paid Worker”) + x = Dating Games. The x being the variables and storyline of the book that made it unique from either of the movies. I guessed the identity of the “mystery escort” Evie was writing about early on, although a couple of times I doubted myself. The main characters were wonderfully written and a few times I thought Evie WAS me with her behavior. The story moved at a good speed; a few times I wanted to jump in the story and shake Evie and Julian to speed their romance up. The secondary characters added the break in the Evie/Julian story that was needed. {I definitely need some of these characters as my own friends} T.K. is one of the few authors that I know I will love the story she has written without ever hearing what the book was about. This book certainly lived up to those standards.
