Blurb

Six months ago, I gave my heart to a girl.

Beautiful, kind, and sexy as sin, she's the only person who saw past my record or the color of my skin. Who ever saw me for me.

She loved me enough to let me go, let me leave this city to find my own path.

But without her, I drift, lost without direction.
Without me, she spirals, desperate for connection.

I gave my heart to a girl, and she gave hers to me.

But love shouldn't hurt this much.

Book Worms and Couch Potatoes Review

While Nico and Layla were one of my favorite couples after reading Bad Idea, I was not fond of either of them in Lost Ones. They both made decisions that made you want to slap them. I wish I had not read the epilogue at the end of Bad Idea. That scene does not appear again until 75% through Lost Ones. I understand that there had to be a lead up to that scene, but it took forever in my mind to get to it. There are some triggers that may upset some people. In my opinion, Layla lost her voice in this book. I feel like she could have been stronger than she was when it came to her friends and her parents and others that she came in contact with. While I still enjoyed Lost Ones, I did not enjoy it as much as Bad Idea.  I really hope there is a third book in the series.

Author Bio

Nicole French is an East Coast/West Coast hybrid creature, Springsteen fanatic, hopeless romantic, and complete and total bookworm. When not writing or teaching about writing, she is hanging out with her family, playing soccer with the rest of the thirty-plus crowd in Seattle, or going on dates with her husband. In her spare time, she likes to go running with her dog, Greta, or practice the piano, but never seems to do either one of these things as much as she should.
