Book Review: Scoring Wilder by R.S. Grey

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

** I was provided with a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review. **

Where to begin? I’m not too big on New Adult Novels but the blurb for this one caught my attention. I ended up loving it!

Kinsley is an upcoming college freshman playing soccer. Her last two boyfriends redefined the term dirtbag. So, she turned her attention to her sport and Olympic dreams. But, then she saw HIM. Liam Wilder, the bad boy of professional soccer. Their first encounter was hilarious. Their second encounter resulted in Kinsley learning that Liam was now volunteering as a coach for her college team… and was off limits to her in a personal relationship way. Unfortunately, the rules can’t control emotions. Liam wants Kinsley; Kinsley wants Liam. But, she risks everything if she pursues him.

There is conflict in this book and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t the same old love triangle conflict. While the conflicts were usually resolved relatively quick, there was always a new one around the corner.

Kinsley was a strong female who didn’t depend on Liam to take care of her or her problems. Liam was a strong male but he didn’t overpower Kinsley. These two were a match made in sports romance heaven.
